I’m Dong-Woo Lee, chairman of the Korean Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (KAGP). I’m pleased to invite you to the Asia-Pacific Psychiatry and Aging Conference (ASPAC) of the KAGP, which will be held in Seoul, Korea, on Nov. 29-30, 2024.
We are delighted to host our second international event following the 2018 international conference of the KAGP. In the meantime, we have witnessed the psychiatric crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and we have experienced the problem of isolation in addition to the problem of aging. On the other hand, we have also seen remarkable changes led by IT and digital technologies in all areas of psychiatry and mental health.
In these periods, we are pleased to share our recent research and perspectives in various fields of geriatric psychiatry such as dementia, depression, and delirium with respected colleagues from all over the world at our international conference.
The 2024 ASPAC will provide interesting scientific and medical programs with valuable sessions and lectures addressing important issues in geriatric psychiatry. We will lead to meaningful discussions and cooperation among participants in geriatric psychiatry during the two-day program.
Without any doubt, our conference in Seoul, the capital of Korea, promises to provide insightful scientific conversations, great networking opportunities, and enjoyable cultural and culinary experiences.
